Thomas Ruff has been questioning the medium of photography for over forty years. The exhibition shows around 100 works from 17 series, including the Bonfils series, which has not been shown before. The various pictorial genres and technical processes with which the artist has been involved to date are presented chronologically in the exhibition parcour, thus tracing the history of photography from the perspective of an artist.
